Weekly Update 05-21-10

Friday, 21. May 2010

This has been an awesome week at Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland! Two female crisis center residents and one young man were sent to long term Teen Challenge centers in Chattanooga, West Virginia, and Western Michigan. There are currently two more residents at the crisis center and several people in the Teen Challenge application process.

Pastor Tim ministered in a great service on Wednesday night at the Appalachian Teen Challenge Center. It is a joy to see what God is doing in the lives of not only the ten students that Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland has sent there, but also in the lives of all the students that are at the center. What an amazing sight, to see renewed people who were once hopeless addicts praying for a full hour before service, then actively participating in a mighty move of the Holy Spirit that lasted over three hours.

2Corinthians 3:18 says And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

These students are no longer conformed to the world, but they are being transformed and becoming more like Christ each day.

These transformations are possible because of your faithful support through your prayers, volunteer hours, donations, and financial contributions. May God abundantly bless you!
